AMONG THE VINES
The Domaine's vines cover nearly 16 hectares spread over three areas: Cogny, in the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées, Romanèche Thorins, the preserve of the Moulin à Vent appellation, and Quincié, where we produce our Brouilly vintage.
In each area our wine-growing practices nurture the life of the soil, flora and fauna. We thus promote the purest expression of the terroirs and the vine varieties. The vines in Cogny are spearheading our conversion to organic farming.
These young vines covering nearly 8 hectares are planted on gentle south-west facing slopes. Under-row tillage, permanent grass cover between the rows, green fertilizer to nourish the vines…
Our wine-growing practices aspire to be more environmentally friendly and respectful of the natural ecosystem. The Beaujolais des Crus parcels at Quincié and Romanèche Thorins, in view of the density of planting, the slope and the age of the vines, are HEV-certified (High Environmental Value).

IN THE WINE STOREHOUSE
In the wine storehouse, we do our utmost to achieve our ambition of letting each vine variety and terroir express all its potential in the wines we produce.
This constant quest for the unique identity of each wine is decisive. It incentivizes us to constantly adapt our vinification principles to the vine varieties, terroirs and vintages.
The Moulin à Vent and Bourgogne White appellations mature in barrels for 8 to 18 months. We pay particular attention to the origin of the barrels we use and prioritize French wood, medium heating and 1st, 2nd or 3rd wine barrels.
